Frequently asked questions

FAQs

What are the benefits of working with a travel advisor?

We add value by saving our clients time and taking the guesswork out of trip planning. As with many services, it is often easier and more efficient to bring in a pro. We do this for a living and stay up-to-date on the latest news and travel restrictions, with frequent updates from partners around the globe. you can rest easy knowing that nothing will slip through the cracks. You haven’t really vacationed until you know what it’s like to not have to worry about a thing!

We will work with our travel partners to get you the VIP treatment, which often includes:

  • Daily breakfast

  • $100 resort credit

  • Upgrade upon arrival, subject to availability

  • Early check-in / late check-out, subject to availability

Do you book vacation rentals and villas?

Yes! We have a portfolio of vetted properties that we know our clients will enjoy, many of which come with private chef and concierge services. So whether you’re looking for a pied-à-terre on the Left Bank or an oceanfront villa with epic views, we’ve got you covered. We do not work with Airbnb, Vrbo or other similar platforms.

Can I use my travel points?

Of course—but with limits. While we cannot use points to book on your behalf, many clients elect to utilize credit card points or airline miles to book their own flight or rental car so the rest of the budget stretches further for the fun stuff.

Will i earn points with my travel?

We are happy to personalize all reservations with your frequent flyer and loyalty rewards numbers, where applicable.

Do you book air travel?

Yes, but only in conjunction with a full itinerary. We have access to fares you won’t find online and are often able to offer clients a discount on certain classes of service (primarily premium economy, business class, first class). We are happy to include your TSA PreCheck Known Traveler Number, Global Entry, and frequent flyer numbers.

How do you make money?

We earn revenue through our planning fees as well as a commission paid out by travel suppliers following the completion of a trip. This does not influence what we recommend for our clients, as each itinerary is personalized to your unique needs and not all components are commissionable. The planning fees cover the time it takes to research, book and manage your trip from beginning to end.
